Well the other tank glass got a crack after me trying to take to top brim off in an effort to quiet the filter.

We siliconed it together yesterday on the inside and outside.

It's supposed to cure around 7ish. Then, it'll be filled with water on top of something soft (like a blanket) and then filled with water and left for 1 to 2 weeks in the garage. I hope it works because that tube cost me $5. Afterwards it'll be inside the house on high alert for a month or 2 (maybe inside a plastic 10gal bin. But I know it can be used for all sorts of projects like making 5 to 10gal aquariums (Hopefully 20gal), caves etc. Do you think it'll hold together?

If you just gooped up along a crack, it will fail rather quickly. If you used the silicone to attach a new piece of glass inside, it wuill probably be just fine.
