Hi there,
In my 125 litre I have one single female guppy. I did have her with a group of makes but asshe grew bigger they just attacked and pestered her constantly which I couldn't bare to see, so I have the boys away and kept her as I had her from a fry! (She managed to jump in the bag as the males were being caught).
Anyway, in my 125 her territory appears to be my large bogwood cave and she spends the majority of her time in there, and she's gradually become arched over, as if she has a hunchback. It's never seemed to affect her swimming as she's still eating normally, however when I looked at her yesterday she had a white mark on her back, and on closer inspection it is as if her bone is rubbing against her back! Is she going to be ok? She's quite old now, at least 3 years and I don't want to euthanise her when she seems perfectly fine in herself, just not appearance.
Thanks xx

Most old livebearers seem to get that hunched back, IME, so she's probably just getting to the end of her days. You'll just have to keep an eye on her and see how she get's on, but there's no need to think of euthansia if she's eating and seems happy to you.

Yeah I thought it might be the case but just got worried when I saw that rubbing type mark. Aww bless her =[ I'll be really sad to lose her eventually, she was one of my first ever fish!
