Both my 90 gallon and 15 gallon tanks crushed to floor. And not many fish survived. Right now i have two angelfish, 5 platies, and one molly fish that survoed. All in a 10 gallon tank. Idk what to do. Cuz i know its like super crowded cu of the angels. Plus its one of my quarantine tanks. I had just had fish sick there. I hope the stress and any illness there doesnt kill them. Ugh....

I'm so sorry to hear that Dreamer! :(

Just try and work out a new tank ASAP.
I hope they don't get sick either!

Also really sorry for the fish you've lost

Thats a bit of bad luck!

Sorry for your losses btw.

Agree with Ninjouzata about trying to get a tank up and running asap if you can.

Best of luck.

I am so sorry for your losses, Dreamer

Every fishkeepers worst nightmare; you have my condolences. I hope your surviving fish make it.

I am getting the tank but i also need where to put it. The place i had it just gave in. I need my dad for that... and i need cycling super fast ao i can get the fish inot that tank. For now the surviving fiah seem fine. Bit well cramped for now... i hope by tomorrow i can have things installed and start cycling.

If you keep your filter media damp, at least some of your filter bacteria should survive.

I did that. I had to downgrade to a 55gallon but then its not a lot of fish I have now... I have started cycling and made sure that the place were is bene placed will hold this time.

Ouch, terrible news!

To be honest, this is where plastic is your friend, of the container variety (although replacing the tanks if you can afford it). I've lost tanks in the past and used a water butt to contain most of the refugees. Ended up keeping it on as a holding tank in the garage, was very useful and a cheap and sturdy container for a huge capacity. It was also conveniently resistant to being broken by men with ladders hitting it.

Often people have large plastic containers lying around that can be pressed into service and but both capacity and time to get a problem solved. Takes the stress away and allows you to replace properly with what you want, rather than having to make a rush decision.
