Bristlenoses Catfish With A Male Betta

i have a roma 90 tank with 2 Bristlenoses cat fish that i am breeding can i put a male betta in with them?
i moved the fish that were in there into my 260l tank when i started to breed the catfish. now it looks empty and was wanting a nice fish to put in with them. i have always wanted a male betta they look so nice i have 2 females in my 260l and they come up to me at feeding time are the males as friendly? thanks in advance

well i wouldnt if i were you as when the bristlenoses breed if the betta went near the eggs the catfish would beat him up really bad


and its also pretty likely that the betta would go near the eggs as the enquisitive little fish
