Bristlenose size?

Well, today I called one of the LFS to see if they had Bristlenose plecos. And they did! And for fairly cheap! But when I asked how big hers got she said between 8-10 inches. So I've hunted a bit around this site and all of the posts list the Bristlenose as maxing out at 8 inches. Are there 10 inch Bristlenose? Another reason I was suspisious was because when I asked her if they had any smaller species, she said that they had a Royal Pleco, which I just looked up and saw that they get around 10 inches! I am so confused.

Your bog standard common bristlenose matures to approx 5 - 6"

it realy depends on which bristlenose they/you have
an "L" number would help in that reguard
