i have a bristlenose in my tank along with african chiclid's, as you all know it's hard to feed them with the africans in there. WHat can i feed it??? would it be ok just with algae and left over food in tank???
i heard lettuce and cucumber can be feed to it....would this affect the africans?

i doubt the lettuce would affect the africans but just to be sure you could place the lettuce in areas where only the BPlec can reach it, and feeding fish diff food is better then leaving it alone to scavenge on algae on the sides of the tank, a supplementary cocumber would do the plec great IMO :)

Get a small, narrow glass jar or vase, large enough for the plec to get in, but small enough to make it inconvenient for the rest of the fish. Submerge it with a piece of zuccini or lettuce. Being glass, it sinks & holds the floating veggies down.
