Bristlenose Catfish Breeding

I have two Bristle nose catfish (around two inches) and one red tailed black shark (around two - three inches) in a 20 gallon tank. The Catfish have laid eggs (roughly four days ago); however I am worried the shark will eat the fry once they appear! What precautions should I take to prevent this? Can I separate the male catfish from the fry? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

BNs normally do a great job at protecting fry so i would let him have a try before you move any. Mine managed to fend of 3 upside down catfish, 2 Banjo catfish, 1 Apistogramma and 8 Corys. The eggs should hatch after 4 days then the fry will stay in the cave and eat there yolk sacs for another 4 then after that they can be fed on the same food as the adults.
