Hi,

When I came home from work I noticed that all my bristlenose's where all darting around this 1 piece of bog wood, I didnt notice at the time but have now (2 hours later) that there are eggs in and hole in the wood and 1 seems to be protecting them from another bristlenose.

Is the other bristlenose attempting to eat the eggs or are they both trying to fertilse the eggs. I have never noticed this in all the years that I have had them. Is there anything I can do or let them just get on with it?

The male should be protecting them from any and all comers. Let them do their thing and you might have some babies in a week or so.
