hi, i have harvested some of my brine shrimp from a hatchery. the solution is about 30 hours old, so the BBS are minute at the moment. perfect for my B.brigittea but not for my rainbows which require a larger snack.
how long can i keep the solution going? is there anything i should add to it?
how long would it take for the BBS to get to a decent noticable size?

cheers.

i used to powder flake food down real fine and feed them every other day
ad fresh water if you have to i have had brine shrimp over 5mm
you can also ad more eggs as well i used to do mine in a demijohn
on the window sill in direct sun light also makes the water slightly
green also food for them

You can raise brine shrimp to a suitable size (not quite fully adult) using large commercial drinking water vessels (the type you see in office foyers)with the correct specific gravity of saltwater, correct temp and aeration and lit 24/7. Most importantly you feed the BS daily with Live Phytoplankton available from various sources off the net.

C
