Hello I was wondering if its worth getting a brine shrimp hatchery? I have seen them on Ebay with eggs and they don`t cost alot.

I know nothing about the process of hatching the brine shrimp. So can anyone talk me through it.

What temp should the water be kept?

Should the eggs be kept in the fridge after the bag is opened?

I`m sorry if the questions are stupid but as I said I know nothing about it

Hey, consider this a free bump :p. But is it for food purposes? as in a food source for w/e your feeding?

OK... Live Brine shrimp is considered to be an excellent - the best (and as far as I'm concerned) the only first foods for fry... I am due to set up a new batch tonight (which I do every 2nd night) for my fry, so I will take a step by step photographic tour of the procedure and post it here for your information....

It is also good for conditioning adult fish, and I've even seen a friend of mine (who is a renowned breeder here in South Africa) conditioning (even) his Oscars on Live brine shrimp...

Just be patient... I'll give it to you in a coupla hours.

Ok thanks Ludwig Venter.

So the baby brime shrimp is fine to feed to adult fish
