Hi just wondering,

I currently have 2 silver male mollies and 1 male black molly. I also have 2 female marble mollies and 1 female red leopard molly. Is it possible they will breed and if it is, what will the outcome be?

Thanks

Eloquently put Tizer! :good:

Yes, they will all breed and mix colours... no, you cant really predict the outcome.

Genetics dont work (as a rule) like paint, if you breed a red fish to a blue fish, you dont get purple babies LOL.

Its hard to know which colours are dominant and recessive, especially as you wont know the parents colours and grandparents colours etc and not to mention you dont know which male would have bred with which female!

I dare say the likely outcome would be lots of grey or silver babies with a few orange patches or spots.
