my mollie looks fat and like its pregnant if she is how long would i keep her in a breeding trap before she had babies ?

Its a livebearer so it is most likely pregnant lol. You probably may have been best off posting this in the livebearers section. I wouldnt keep her in the breeding trap for that long cos that may stress her out and she may have a premature birth which will result in most of the fry dying. You need to make sure that shes just about ready to give birth as to shorten her time in the trap. Can tell this by her acting differently e.g. moving less etc.

I wouldn't put her in the breeding trap at all; the stress can cause her to abort and could even kill her. If you are worried about the fry, stick lots of plants in the tank for them to hide in and/or be ready at the birth to net them and put them in the trap without mother.
