Is anyone else really intrested in breeding?
I find myself talking about what I would like to breed....Sounds like fun..

What would you like to breed?

Breeding can be very fun and rewarding
So far, the only fish I've bred are plakat bettas and Betta imbellis... and guppies of course, lol!

I've bred:
Keyholes
Blue/Gold/Balloon Rams (I never gave the balloon to lfs, gave them to friends)
Bolivian Rams
Red Forrest Jewel Cichlids
Bristlenose catfish(never made it past egg stage, parents have a taste for caviar)
Aeneus(Albino) Corys
Pepperd Cory

And i think thats about it

BTW, i give the fry to the LFS or friends who want some fish, or i use the fry for food.

After breeding the usual livebearers I progressed into the more obscure ones, then unto Killifish where I've been for the last 20yrs or so.

we really fancy breeding angels.. well at least trying to! and i've convinced my bro that he needs some convicts to breed!

I want to try and breed yellow labs, but I dunno if you can in the setup I have. I only have one right now in my 55G, and I can't find out how to tell if its male or female.
I wonder if google holds the key...
