Breeding Trap

If it's for a permanent home then no. If it's just for holding while you sort a tank out then he'll be fine.

what about in a community tank as a center piece fish.

with the following fish:
7 rummy nose tetras
2 pokeadot loaches
4 albino cory cats
3 sturbie
1 albino bristle nose plec
2 goby of some sort
3 mollies

What size tank is it just out of curiosity... Im not sure if hed work in there though, it totally depends on the bettas temperment. If I were you Id invest in a 2.5-10 gallon tank and put one in there.

right thanks very much for the help. But can you think of anyother centerpiece fish i can put in with the fish i have just said about?

not sure what a "sturbie" is or a "polkadot loach" but if theyre smallish peaceful community fish, then maybe a new world cichlid like a german ram or an apistogramma... they have brilliant colors.

thats what i just had but they died. still dont know how i think they might have been fighting or the water was to hard :-(

But thanks for the idea
