I have a small tank which I'm not using, I want it to set up for my pregenant guppies & mollies (then I can sell them to a pet shop)

What sort of filter should I use, and when should I move the pregenant fish in?

You will want to use a sponge filter. This will not harm the babies, and you don't have to worry about them getting sucked up into filters. Sponge filters are easy to use and you can even make your own. Be sure to take a look down in the DIY section for how to make your own sponge filter. :good:
