Maybe they are a variant of the koi swords and never got their red color? I've never seen all whte ones though I have seen ones that look like they are wearing a red hat.

About 2.5 months ago, I had a red swordtail that had fry. I saved 19 of them. All were red, except one. She is completely white - not albino white with red eys, but just white with normal black eyes, and looks a lot like the picture. She's still doing great, and the same color. The others are all still red too.

Well about the white fry it can be someone in the family of that swordtail was white. Genes get passed along. I bought a pregnant swordtail from my lfs 5 months ago and she gave birth to about 40 fry and out of those 40 fry 2 of them came out with a black tail and mouth. They look very cool. I will keep those 2 swordtails because I dont have any that look like that.
