Yes, i have read the pinned topic about breeding most egg scatterers.

I was wondering if anyone had any species specific knowledge they could hook me up with in regards to breeding serpaes. I have them separated, and they have breeding mops. I have observed in my tank that they perform spawning behavior the morning after a cold water change, but they have never been separated during such an event, nor have they had the mops until now. Should they lay eggs next cold water change? thanks!

well they have been conditioned with quality, mixed foods. They are seperated the tank is covered in towels so i can control the "first light" factor. The water is slightly cooler than its usual 79 and is at 74 degrees Farenheit. Still no comments? I will try my first breeding tomorow afternoon when i decide to let in some light because i have time to observe.
