Well, after the troubles he's been through (having to be forcefully rescued from a log twice, an eye infection and the loss of one mate), Arnie our male paradise fish has got it on with his new mrs and we have a bubble nest full of fry! 
Its been very interesting watching him construct the nest over the past week, even more so watching the mating (vouyers we are!) and now watching him guard the fry!
No one dare come near him at the moment, not even the mum - he's very protective!
Unfortuntely we won't be able to rear the fry seperately, so they'll have to fend for themselves (against 7 danios!
) but we'll be wishing them luck!
Its good to know, seeing all he has been through!
