Breeding Lionfish

i just had to ask, i have 2 voltans, very tempted to buy another.. the reason is becuase i want to breed them, i heard the process was cool to watch.. but anyways, is their anyway to tell the sex of the lionfish before i buy them.. all of the sites i went to arent very clear about that. I just dont want to end up buying 3 male lion fish.. but i did hear though that their needs to be one male and numerous females... thanks to anyone who can help
