Breeding Info

Alright, I've got a big project in school, which can be a very broad range of subjects. I want to be able to breed fish, so i need some information. For example a easily bred fish and all the procedures i need to follow. I have two options, using my 55 gallon tank or my five gallon. I also dont want to spend too much money. i heard rumor that you can successfully breed a livebearer with a goldfish to make it more durable. But i dont know. so everyone help me out. Any info would help.....peace

Try breeding some easy ones like Platys or Guppys. Get a male and around 3 females of the same kind. You should soon have a few babies (fry). Feeding the adults with live food and maintaining good water quality helps to breed faster. I dont believe guppies will breed with platys and nor will guppies and goldies. Best of luck.

Peppered corys are easy ones too. They just need cool, neutral water.
