Hey, i've seen you guys use abbreviated letters to describe your types of bettas. I'm pretty new to this whole thing and my fishy looks like the one on this website- a little bit more blue through the scales. http://www.fbas.co.uk/Fighter.jpg What type of betta is he?

If i wanted to breed with him, do i have to chose a specific type of female betta? Which ones would give the prettiest babies?

Thanks

I believe he's a Veil Tail (VT), but I'm new to all this too :)

No idea about breeding, but I'm sure someone will be along soon, to advise! :good:

Hi is a VT. If you want to breed him do lot of reading first `couse its not easy as it looks. Baby bettas are size of grain of sand, so you need microscopic food for first week of they life, breeding tank, grow out tank, cultures of microworms, baby brine shrimps etc. You can use any female, but you will end up with mostly VT fry. Hope this helps :good:
