i have a female paradise fish and i want breed it i dont have a male yet but im going to get one. i have had my paradise fish for a while (bout a year or so) and its a good size it looks redy to breed. any way i dont know how to breed them. all of my breeding has been done with liveberrers. i know that the male makes a bubble nest but does that meen that hes ready to mate???

Assuming that theyre like bettas, the female and male need to be exposed to eah other for a while before spawning. Oh, don't forget to condition. yeah they need to swim laps...jk. feed them good food alot and fatten them up. 1-2 weeks is good conditioning time. Put the female in a glass chimney(the ones on those oil lanterns)for a few days in the males tank. hell make a nest and shell make eggs. then release and let them do their thing.
