Hi guys... still working on trying to get a halfsun line. I'm planning on using HM females and CT males for my first few crosses. Later when I know exactly what I'm looking for then I might consider shelling out the $50 EACH for a HM male. But for now, I have stunning CTs and HM females are a lot more cost effective than males, especially since I can't get CT females at all.
Here's what I've dug up so far. I chucked in loads of photos so you get a good idea of what they're like, because most of the photos are not particularly good.
TOUCHED: Female HM, quite big, 8 months old (I know, I know...) Pretty girl. Never bred. VERY HARD to photograph.
ROMAN: Steel/red male CT, double ray. Unfortunately there won't be any more photos. I stuck Thor (a rescued VT) in the tank next to Roman... Thor is half his size again and apparently this didn't suit Roman's ego so he chewed the crap out of his tail. Got them carded now but the damage is done.
RAVEN: My most promising CT, I'd like to get some pure CT spawns out of him too. No doubt you overseas breeders have seen better, but other than the tiny fault in one tail ray (it flicks up) I have never seen his equal in Australia. You have to see him in life to know what I'm talking about really... I just have a feeling about him. He's blue and red but I wouldn't quite call it wild coloured, dragon scaling on the lower half of the body but not strongly. Double ray with quad tips.
DISCO: Had old fight injuries and I'm still in two minds whether to spawn him. I'll get some better photos for you later today. His markings are beautiful and he'd match well with a girl like Touched, which is why I'm considering it.
FIESTA: Picked him up yesterday. His spread is close to 180 and he's a DR, quad tips. I think he's been in a fight judging by the dorsal and anal - can anybody offer opinions on why his fins are like that? The photo with his name in red shows him at full flare. He's a gorgeous colour, so what sort of colour girl would I be looking at?
I'm planning on making my first cross (Raven/Touched) within a few weeks, Raven is red/blue and Touched is red/platinum. If I cross Fiesta with a female from Touched's family, will I be able to merge the two lines? I need to get some more females, majorly. Gotta get down to the city where Touched's breeder has an LFS, but there's a major dengue fever outbreak there at the moment so my parents are a bit nervy about it. The washed-out photo of Touched over some wood was taken yesterday, the others about a month or two ago, she was six months old when I got her and is eight months now.

Are you looking at breeding them with touched?
