Breeding Giant Bettas With Betta Splendens

ok as title suggest i am thinking about breeding my new giant betta when i get him with a normal female betta splenden will this be ok or will he crush her or are their breeding tactics different ie does he make a bubble nest??

he is a giant plakat which i will get at then end of this month

I would say yes, aslong as the female isn't too small. Just remember they have to wrap and he has to be able to fertilise the eggs.

Genetics im unsure of, don't no what the outcome of the fry will be, whether there would be any giants within the spawn...

hhhm can i ask a question do u think its worth it or should i just get a betta from bettaboys im so undersided id love a giant and a normal breeding male but i dont have room for both

i have a spare tank for the new male but not 2 as i have fry tanks and other males hhhhhmmmmmmmm i just dont know

Hmmm, it depends, Get a female, who is almost the same size as the gaint, because if its too small, the wrapping when they embrace could be loose which means shes still releasing eggs but less is fetilized.
