Breeding For Shop

got a shop that has asked me to breed betta for them but i said i would think about it, i work from home so always got either my hand in the tank, arranging tanks and so on so ive def got the time and can find the space no problem but bettas? ive read loads and learning fast but is it worth looking into doing since im fairly new to betta (about 8 months now i think) prob just lacking in confidence

Hi, if you do get into it let me know please! I'm thinking of getting either a male or a group of females and wd rather get from a local breeder than the lfs. I'm on the other side of the forest. Good luck with it anyway!

id go for it if i was you, if youve read alot and u know what you need to do, then why not? do it..DO IT!!!!

ive always wanted to breed them, just havent got the tanks

I'd go for it! I've been offered a similar offer and I'm going to take them up on it got 2 spawns going at the moment!! (plus expecting baby hamsters ) If you need any advice or have any questions feel free to ask me

Actually it works great... as long as you don't fill the tank with water!! My little hamster girls actually in a 10 gallon fish tank until she gives birth and such. One the babies can leave their mom shell go back in her cage and the babies will grow up in the tank

If I had the space and the money I'd be sorely tempted to breed bettas. It would give you such a great oppurtunity to try to get a certain color, or certain color pattern, etc etc.. would be very exciting!
I say go for it if you're up to it and if the lfs is a good place.
Everyone has to start from somewhere and I'm sure you'll do great and produce some wonderful bettas once you get into it!
