Why doomed? Really ... they'll just eat the eggs as soon as they drop, so you'll be very very very lucky if you even end up with 1 fry if you don't try and rescue them. No overrun or anything

The chasing, well ... even if she wasn't full of eggs they'd still be doing that, being danios and all

Well I guess your right. The danios will eat the eggs and the baby guppies so I dont really need to worry about to many fry surviving and crowding the tank
