I want to build a Breeding cave for my Kuhli's,
Its going to be made out of Slate and brick and topped off with moss and fern.
I plan to have 3 bricks (2sides 1 front(with holes)) with slate along the front that has holes about 1.5 cm so only they can get in and out.

How big should the internal cavity be?

#41#### should of put Patent pending(?) lol

Sure I'll be doing a photo'd build if you wanna wait lol :good:

Just been out and went to buy some guttering and found a Terracotta wall cavity block and a bag of Slate chippings gonna buy some sealant to stick it all together =D :hyper:

Got any ideas for a synthetic/artificial moss effect to put in it? like bedding, romantic music faint purple lighting....BowchickaWowwow

Make a bed out of java moss. Include some nice throw pillows. Get like a little Barbie plate and put some bloodworms garnished with brine shrimp. Paint the inside purple, and line it with silk. Put on some mood lights (LEDs) and then wait until night. Play some Barry White. And then leave the lovers to themselevs. Bow chicka bow wow.

:hey:

I don't think kuhlis need caves to spawn. They're egg scatterers, and the breed like this

But it wouldn't hurt to give them a little private love cave :hey:

My loaches certainly spend a lot of time in their Little tunnel of love i call "The Loach Hole" its just a self-made cave underneath the dritwood :hey:

That was a very interesting video crossfire. I wonder where I can get those cool striped kuhlis the only kuhlis around here are black kuhlis.
