Once my group of green corys mature (6 or 7 of them), how often should they breed?  They'll be on a diet of frozen blood worms, mysis shrimp, and brine shrimp, along with shrimp pellets and veggie pellets.  I'm guessing I'd feed them 2, possibly 3 times a day.  I do water changes often.  Would they spawn and just have a few eggs every week or just one big spawn every 2 1/2 weeks or so?  Is there a way to regulate this or will the group just do their own thing?  Should I do warm (same temp as the tank) water changes when I'm trying to condition them so they don't spawn when the females are only full of a few eggs (this has happened before)?  Then do cold water changes when I'm ready for them to spawn?  I've bred corys before, but I'd like some advice.

Once they're mature & well conditioned they'll spawn every couple of weeks.
You need more males than females to get a higher % of fertilised eggs.
When you want them to spawn do cold water changes & drop the temp by about 10 degrees, though if they decide to spawn before you do that they will.
My corys spawn whenever they feel like it & especially when there's a change in the weather

Mines first spawned when I lowered the temp of the water I was doing it to make the platies feel better, instead, I got eggs. In this heatwave we are having, I was away to my parents last sunday, came back on friday to about 40 eggs. They all hatched within hours of removing them! I hope I don't get any more!

My best bet has always been a low pressure system moving through. Keep em fat and happy, do cool water changes, not much happens. Cold front moves through, and look at them go.

Are your Green Corys the Corydoras Aeneus or Brochis Splendens ? Both have the nickname Green Cory I believe.

Mine are Aeneus (I'm figuring).  They're the same "type" as peppered and albino, if you know what I mean.
