Breeding black paradise fish ?

They breed the same as Betta splendens (Siamese fighting fish), normal paradise fish and gouramis.

Have a large shallow tank or plastic storage container. Put lots of floating plants in there. Have a filter and heater if you live in a cool climate. Feed them and let them do the rest.

The males build a bubble nest. They breed. Male puts eggs in nest and looks after babies for first few weeks.

Babies need green water and infusoria as food for the first 2-3 weeks. Then they can eat newly hatched brineshrimp.

The following link has information on culturing green water and infusoria. It takes about 4-5 weeks to get the cultures going so start them now and breed the fish later.
