That's a great idea--it sounds like with limited equipment, the albimarginata could be a possibillity..need to do more research. Maybe this is Frankenstine talking, but I wonder if a male albimarginata could mate with a betta splenden.

i saw a few ads of ebay for people selling guppy fry, something like 8 uk pounds for 50 fry. Im new to fish keeping and only have a 22g, but already i have 6 little guppy fry i managed to get in the babys keeper but id imagine the people selling them on ebay dont do to badly out of it, and also there is only a market for guppy fry on there it seems and bettas. personally i think its a bit evil posting fish, but hey.. could help you a bit getting some custom!
