Brasiliensis Sexing Please

Got myself a brasiliensis on Saturday, not having had any before, just wondering if anyone can sex this chap please or whether its still to early to tell, he is about 2" at present.

nice looking fish.. my one looks completely different much darker. and has three light blue spots just below his/ her eye.

So I assume the bahia red is a colour varient of the same species then? Having looked it up, the red colouration is beautiful, be interesting to see how he/she turns out.

Yeh they are more yellow when juvi with blue and red fins....the standards are more silver with bluey fins.

Basically a more colourful varient.
