Brand New Tank

hi all

it was my 14th birthday recently and i have been saving up for a BIG aquarium

so today i bought a fluval duodeep aquarium and cabinet - its boss!!!

so im after some ideas of what to do with it

i do not want marine!!! (cost issues) Andi really like discus.

Read all you can on this site and "Simply discus" before you buy. Discus are more expensive and more work. For some people it's worth it, for some it's not. Don T.

I was like you, i really wanted discus and thought i could maybe keep them. But after doing real research i realised there not really a beginner fish. But i'v found that you can still easily create a great looking peaceful community tank with vibrant, colourful fish that doesn't take all the extra work and have all the special needs of discus.

Try angelfish, cory cats, gouramis and possibly rainbowfish. Don't forget to cycle!
