I have just set up a brackish aquarium (Rio 240) but, at the moment, it is looking very bare on the decor side of things. All I have at the moment is a few big pieces of ocean rock and I need a bit of inspiration before I continue to decorate. I just wondered if anyone had some good pictures of brackish aquaria (be it your own aquarium, an aquascaping example, pictures from public aquariums, etc), just so that I can get an idea of what is possible. That's not to say that I'm without my own imagination, but as I said before, I'm looking for a bit of inspiration to spark said imagination!

I understand that uploading pictures can be a hassle at times, so a special thanks to anyone who posts their pics! :)

My 40G Breeder Archer Tank: Old pic, pretty much the same now, but using a canister filter instead of HOB, much better! Their new home is an unfinished 200G Paludarium!

37G Tall Green Spotted Puffer Tank: Pretty much the same now, but now 1.020SG and about to get heavily planted with macroalgae, primarily sargassum hystrix.

Dave May I say that archer tank IS AWESOME...the low water level looks awesome with the water flooding down

Nice pics, all! :) Keep them coming!

Sabby, I notice you have a pic of some Black Fin Shark Cats (I think!) under your name. Are they yours? If so, do you keep them in the Rio 240? I've been thinking of getting some, but wasn't sure if a Rio 240 would be a suitable size or not.

Hi Scatta

No the Rio 240 is not suitable for long term.
Yes I have kept them in my Rio 240 (Is the Rio 240 4ft ?) for just under one year no longer as they grow very fast. They are now in a 6 1/2 x2x2. Also they need to be kept in pairs. Do not get them if you are not sure if you will be able to upgrade your tank.

Sabby
