Brace/ Supports For Homemade Tank

I've just built the tank in my sig (6mm glass) and now I'm scared to fill it because it may burst in the night. Am I being daft? Please tell me I am because I want to get it cycling yesterday.

Is this your 54 Litre jobbie ? If so, you wont be needing braces - errr, disclaimer - if its built right ! LOL


As for the cycling... pop your filter in the old tank, and get it cycled without getting the new tank wet ! This way you can alleviate your fears by filling the new tank outside for a few days
