Boyu Drop Checker Help

i bought a boyu type one drop checker which came yesterday with a 4dkh water. set it up and sure enough it turn green. The problem is my co2 has been off all night, my tank water has risen by .5 ph as you would expect but the drop checker is still exactly the same shade of green! Whats going on?

Same with mine - I never worry, providing it stays green I don't mind. Probably down to the fact that it takes ages for the thing to register the actual CO2 level and the drop overnight in CO2 is minimal as plants are not taking it up.
