Well i decided to remodle my 38gal. tank change gravel to sand. I was taking the last scoop of gravel to the bucket i was keeping it in and heard a loud CRACK!!!!! then felt a burning in my foot and thought to myself. NOT GOOD!!!! (Later found out i steped on my glass top that i layed on the floor)

I ran to the bathroom just before the blood started to pour out. I bandaged it up then called the docter to see if i needed to go in or not. Turns out i had to go in and ended up getting 5 stiches in my big toe and a broken glass top :-( .

So moral of the story being dont step on a glass top in bare feet. Anyone else have a story like this or am I the only dumb one on the forum?

Nope I broke 4 covers in a week lol. 2 I stood on bare foot, one I threw forgetting it was on the pile of stuff, other one I dropped. :D

They were good times :) Not as bad as the week I broke 4 toes and a rib playing sports though lol.

Bless ya! Yet another fish-related injury! I think it's safer playing rugby/american football than keeping fish! Hope it heals soon!

P.S. - Where the fish alright!! he he!

rugby/american football
The 2 sports I was playing lmao. My fish were ok, don't know if you were asking teh otehr guy, oh well. My fish just didn't have glass lids for a week.

I broke a glass lid once because it had a light bulb resting on it that was switched on, and the heat cracked it. Ended up in about 5 peices inside my tank, along with the light. The light still works today and i'm now using a peice of acrylic the same size!

Not very attractive though qays on open top tanks like the tanks I use in my room.
