@PheonixKingZ asked me a while back to post pics of my latest bow when I got it done. Reporting as ordered.
This is the first bow I've made that I actually like.
Shoots like a dream: Flat and fast, no discernable hand-shock, hits where I'm looking. I'm pretty sure this will be my hunting bow for this fall.
It's made of rawhide-backed hickory. Draws 44# @ 27". Elk antler tip overlays and inlaid antler arrow pass. Stained with minwax wood finish, Celtic knotwork done in acrylic paint. Finished with two coats of paste wax. Cowhide grip tied on with artificial sinew.
