Alright, I need ideas for a bottom dwelling fish. I have normal aquarium gravel and already have been admonished for wanting cories there. So ill stay here with my questions. I don't care much for shrimp, but I don't want a monster pleco. So any suggestions? Its a 15 gallon tall tank, that will also include 6 zebra danios. Decent covering of plants both live and plastic.I plan to put the danios in first after cycling, just incase there are any ammonia or nitrite spikes. So suggestions are welcomed, as long as it doesn't involve changing anything in my tank or the danio choice.

bristlenose plec grows to around 5"? or how about a few red crabs just make sure the lid is sealed

Kuhli loach are great and they do not add much of a bio load to your tank they can be a little reclusive until they get used to your tank and there better in a group maybe 5 or 6 in my experience they are better in a group.

BNs are a bit big for a 15g and mixing crabs and fish is never a good idea.....

to the OP I would go with pygmy cories or smaller cory species like pandas. Or you could try a small group of dwarf chain loaches.

Is your normal aquarium gravel quite jagged then? If it's smooth and rounded, then yeah, you'll be fine with what's been suggested so far. Pygmys would be better, seeing as it's a tall tank and I'd imagine you don't have that much floor space.
