I've seen a bottle in my lfs, which claims it contains brine shrimp eggs without shells, and a 'guaranteed hatching of 4 million brine shrimp, ideal for feeding baby fish.'

Has anyone heard of this product, and is it any good? It's £15 a bottle in my lfs, which seems a bit steep.

What is that??? Never seen one like that before. Take a picture and show us here. That sound interesting.

yer that sounds good as you can feed your baby fish on the tiny brine shrimp, excellent food for babys to grow

Yes good stuff but wash them before feeding don't put any of the water they are kept in in the tank they do hatch within 24 hours a well, but i do find it quite expensive to but them but with them what don't hatch can be fed as well....... i do find it a problem finding brine shrimp eggs in the uk alot of lfs dont sell them...:D

Just went back down the lfs, the stuff is called 'artemia revolution', and is made by these guys:

NT Labs

If someone has a lot of betta fry, it'd be a worthy purchase, but I only keep a few of my fry, as I don't have a lot of space for them

No, it's £15 just for the shrimp

The hatcher is another £7, and the full kit is about £25.

I got some from my local club president who uses it daily. I say, the way that he feeds it is just the eggs. Take a look at this site for more info. (Decapsulated brine shrimp eggs). They are actually more nutrious than newly hatched BBS because they don't use any energy to hatch. Just sprinkle and go. I decapsulate my eggs that I buy and then hatch those for feeding newly hatched ones. He also said that their quality of freeze dried daphnia is better than Hikari's, so I've ordered some of that to try out.
