Has anyone ever tried the 6.6 Gallon Bookshelf Aquarium from petco for their Betta fish? I'm considering upgrading to it from my Marineland 5 Gallon aquarium. Or, would it just be better to upgrade to a nice 10 gallon tank?

I would say just go for the 10 gal. it will probably come out to close to the same price and yor little guy will definitly appreciate it :good:

I got my betta an aquarium but with water the sides became reflective llike a mirror....so he was trying to fight with himself ALL day so I finally took him out..is there anything I can do to fix that..it is 10 gallons

Wow it's a bit risky putting 6.6 Gal on a bookshelf isn't it?

Mine isn't attached to the wall but then again my bookcase is just a wee bit wider then my tank but I might actually do the attaching if I have a problem thanks for the idea lol

Lol no, mine are on hinges on the wall and I'm worried about the impact on the wall. If it's not a prob then I may just have a lovely little space for another Betta tank!

Matters on the weight of said tank as well as if everything is in the stubs because if it isn't then you have a lot to worry about if it is and can handle the weight it should be fine
