Bolivian Rams With Pair Of Rotkeils?

Hi i am currently growing out 10 Rotkeil Severums in view of gettign a few pairs.

Now i don't think my tank will be big enough to have multiple pairs long term, so i was thinking of something else small and peaceful i could have a pair of in the same tank.

The only fish I have in with my Rotkeils is my invincible male GBR that i have had through thick and thin, but everytime i try and get him soem mates, they dont last 5 minutes....yet he always survives.

So i came up with this/these idea's...

Either get him a female Bolivian to flirt with, I'm not bothered about hybrids because i don't sell my fry anyway and i have never seen a hybrid ram anyway...so maybe they don't tend to do it...

Or just get a pair to go in there...so my final stocking in my 100g would be

Pair of Rotkeil Sevs
Pair of Bolivian Rams
German Blue Ram
8 x Tetra

lots of hiding places and lots of tough plants.

Would that work?

I don't see why it wouldn't work, lots of people seem to have Sevs in a tank with your average community fish without issue...and I am sure the rams wouldn't give the sevs any bother..
