Will my 20 gallon tall tank be big enough?

I already have 4 peppered cories and 3 guppies in there, how many rams would i be able to add?

Is there such thing as a longfinned bolivian ram?

would a community tank work well? what would i need to put in there to make the ram happy?

My Ph is 8.0 is this to high for bolivian rams?

What would the water changes be like?

Would this idea work for changing the tank to be BR friendly?
the left one is how the tank looks now and the right one is what i want it to look like
I'm trying to make a little area in the back left corner that has a pvc pipe or terra-cotta pot covered in gravel to make a little cave. What should the diameter of the pvc pipe/terra-cotta pot be?

I would only add 1 pair. Yes there are Long Finned Rams. Bolivians are fine in a higher PH, but I would acclimate them as they may be used to being in softer water. Adding a piece of wood to the tank or peat moss in the filter could naturally lower your PH a bit. The tank should be well cycled before adding them. They like plants and caves for security. Any type of cave will work.

If you are able to I'd suggest getting yourself a group of juvenile rams 4/5 and then allow a pair to form. Once a pair has formed, re-home the other 3. If not then I wouldn't risk 2 rams in a 20gallon. I have a 33 Gallon and my male wont accept any other rams in the tank with him. My only chance to add another is to get him to pair off with a female (Currently have a young ram in with him which is hopefully female).

I have my Rams in the community set-up shown below. I've given them plenty of foliage and hidey holes from wood and rocks etc. Your example tank set-up looks fine for them. :)

1. Yes
2. 2 (1m1f or 2f otherwise 1m)
3. Don't know
4.a) Yes
b) A few places to hide and swim underneath like rocks, wood and plants and two distinct territories if possible (though not necessary)
5. No
6. 25% every two weeks minimum

Sounds fine. Minimum diameter should be about 6cm. But they appear to appreciate the challenge of tight squeezes anyway (at least mine do).

20 gallons is big enough.
I would add 3. I would rehome the corries because they will get torn to bits during breeding because they WILL try to eat their eggs.
Probally a long finned Bolivian ram. Jujst look hard. There is of the German Ram variety.
Community tanks help the ram come out of their shells. A school of neons would wor great. Maybe 12 or so neons. But theyy would nip on the guppie. Re-home the guppies also. If you have a harem (1 male 2 female) add about 4-5 caves all around the tank for them to be able to find their own turf.
Add some wood to your tank, or add peat moss to your filter to get it to about neutral.
Do a tad larger water change as they don't like organtic waste in their tanks. I do a 35%.
Just the smallest terra cotta pot. Usually 3 1/2 inches in diameter.

Hope I helped.
