Fish Crazy
My bolivian rams are doing very well at 29C(although i'll turn it down now i noticed, summers on its way..), coloured up nicely and behaviour is normal. i can't comment on GBRs though.
That sounds more like a lack of dissolved oxygen than not tolerating the temperature. I observed no change in behaviour or colour with mine.
Yeh ok. Like i said before wasnt because of a lack of oxygen, When temp dropped back down to 25c the fish behaved normally again, no water change took place and the airstone would still produce almost the same amount oxygen entering the water no matter the temperature of the water. So i then can rule out the oxygen content.LOL that alone tells me you didnt understand the statement.

What does water changing have to do with anything? You obviously don't have a clue what you are talking about, because how would the airstone produce as much oxygen in each temp. difference? Do you even know the science behind their being less oxygen in cold water compared to hot? Dissolved oxygen gets knocked out of the water (evaporates) due to the water molecules moving faster when hot. Your statement pretty much completely identifies your problem (low D.O.)
