yep 28...its very important...they may be happy...but you cant see whats going on inside...all of the statistics published show that rams live in waters of about 28-34oC and this i important to keeping them healthy

No, water will be too warm for Bolivians at 28c and any lower will be too cool for the GBRs

No! as i said ^^ 28c is too warm for Bolivians.

No where in there does it state any sources, the temperature range of their habitat/s in the wild, or that they will die if kept in higher temperatures for prolonged periods of time.

And not just "as an example" even though anyone could easily make a fictitious post out to be truth anyway, but I kept bolivian rams in 28.5-29C for 6-7 weeks due to setting up my heater incorrectly. They're still alive right now albeit in a lesser temperature. I'm simply curious about their tolerance/hardiness.

Well when my temp went to 27c, both Rams became lethargic had rapid gill movement, and stayed near the water surface. So IMO 27c+ is far too warm for Bolivian Rams. When i realised that the temp was at 27c i turned it down and within a couple of days were back to normal.

That sounds more like a lack of dissolved oxygen than not tolerating the temperature. I observed no change in behaviour or colour with mine.

Warmer water hold less oxygen than cooler water. Like i said in another post what works for one may not for another. I can only give my opinion, gained with my own experience. So i believe that No you cant keep Bolivian and GBR's togther as both required a too wide temp range. Plus the Bolivians would bully there smaller cousins anyway.

I kept a single bolivian, key word single, because he was so agressive. He bullied the other rams I purchased, and when he got comfortable, took after my angels.

These little guy's temper can be misleading.
