Bogwood

i bought new piesce bogwood about week ago since then kept in warm water in a bucket and water changed daily .i putt wood in tank the day and look likes has thin white fluff on it .has anyone had this before what is it how do i get rid off it or is this just way it is meant to be

Cant remember what it's called but should disappear in time.

ahhh perfect what i have done now is boiled it best i can as wont fit in a pot then will rinse and scrub it see if that helps but thanks

Its just bacteria, once it stops growing pull it out and wipe it off and it wont come back.

thanks i boiled it aswell today so hpefully will help was thinking off adding fern to it or would i be best wait makesure that bacteria has gone

yeah i went got some anubias and tyed that t the wd placed back in tank will keep a eye on it
