hi was wandering if anyone could tell me what to do with a piece of bogwood that was given to me that has already been used in another tank, do i have to clean it in any special way?

Hi there!

If has already been used in another tank I would boil it in a pan for a short while or put it into a bucket with boiling water onto it. This should clean it up and you will also see how brown it is likely to make your water go from the tannins that are leaked from it.
