Ok, so I have a good sized bit of bog wood which was in my tank until I re-designed it a few months ago. Now I have decided that it might be a good idea to but it back in LOL. The only thing is it has been in my shed for a few months, what should I do with it before I go and put it in my tank again, is it likely to have bad stuff on it and will it be no good. I know I am foolish for doing this but as always at the time it seemed like a good idea.
thanks team

I've got a box of wood I've removed/added to my tank repeatedly over the years. A clean is about all I've done to the pieces other than maybe soaking it for a bit to get rid of the buoyancy it may have had if it dried out.

ok thanks, I was just a little worried as my shed is a little damp and wondered if there might of been any nasties growing on it

Wouldn't hurt to pour some boiling water over it and scrub it down. Just don't soak in boiling water or it will break down the fibers.
