Bog Wood With Fungus

hi i bought some wood for my kribensis tank and boiled it then put it in the tank and it still gave off the red stuff, is that good because i didnt really mind it but then this white fungus started growing on the wood any idea what causes it and is it bad

it is common and should dissapear in a few weeks, not harmful to fish either.
