Bobs Tank Improved?

Hey all, have added some extra cover to the tank floor, a background. and removed the 25w heater as it was constantly on. the room is veeerry warm so the 50w should suffice (the tank is filled to 12 inches so its 24x12x12 - decor, so should be ok.

Going for plastic plants this time for lower mainainance (though I will try and include floating plants from bobs original tank, IF, I can stop them congragating round the filter (I use a home made surface divider in bobs current tank).

Now bob is a 7" bumblebee (still cant get a decent pic, he is ver elusive).

I hope to introduce a bumble bee, and maybe a doradid of some type at a (much) later date.

I buy really cheap/large/thin cork tablemats from wilkinsons/super market etc. figure brown is a bit more natural

Just like at college.... a sorority is an all girl's tank.... but filled with only betta females..... get it? Betta? Sorority?

I recommend silk plants instead of plastic, the sharp edges of the plastic can scrape/tare fins and scales!

thanks :> yup will do, they were put in just to give bob a little more to hide behind. He refuses to be photographed! but ge is very very happy :> he's been exploring all night. I will give him a little feed later and see how his feeding is :>

I would add a real piece of drift wood, or a few bigger sized river rocks

Bob is loving the new tank :> Think I may need a new filter (again) unless I can extend the uplif tube on the hang on filter (its brand new, just not very powerful...).

Will drop in another handful of snails later too.

I'm not a pink kinda girl, so my fish are not pink kinda girls..... the only place I allow that horrid color is in the flowers in my garden.....
