Bob The Molly Dead

I've just had a look in my tank when i got home from work and found bob the black molly dead. He was fine yesterday. I found him floating upside down at the top of the tank. Usually if i've found dead fish they are at the bottom. (Not sure if thats relevant).

Just tested the water:

Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20
PH 7.8 (tap water is 7.2).
Temp 25.5

Last did a water change on sunday. about 40%. I can't see any thing really wrong although his eye looks a bit bulged. But this maybe because he was dead. I'm not sure how long he's been dead for. Theres 2 pictures below. He was a black molly, he looks a bit white, but i put that down to death. He was about 3 inches in length, maybe a tiny bit shorter. I got him with the tank a few months ago, could it just be old age. The previous owners had the tank a couple of years.

I'm sorry for your loss. I have to think it was age. A black molly's average lifespan is 3-5 years. RIP little bob.
